Ladies Thigh Boots

Ladies Thigh Boots

Considered quite unconventional, thigh-high boots are worn by users who want to look attractive; they are also regarded as fetish clothing.

Thigh-high boots lend quite an appearance to the legs. Overall, the person wearing such footwear may appear to be more desirable. The origin of modern day thigh-high boots can be traced back to the riding boots worn by the American Wild West cowboys of yore. However, riding boots have been in use for centuries by warriors and horsemen of various armies throughout the world. Riding boots worn by these soldiers were usually made of leather and, hence, suitable for riding as well as rough terrain use. Nowadays, thigh-high boots have come to be fashion statements of sorts for women. They are usually a must-have item for the wardrobe collections of many women.

Thigh-high boots can be made from different materials such as latex, leather and spandex. Spandex boots are tight on the legs and normally do not feature a zipper. Leather thigh high boots feature a zipper on the inseam for ease of fit. A variety of colour options are available in the market for thigh-high boots. Many online stores (shoestastic) offer cheap as well as costly lady thigh-high boots and often feature a gallery that showcases these types of footwear.

In autumn 2010, thigh-high boots repeated as a fashion highlight from autumn 2009. Designers and fashion houses that showed them with their designs included the following:

  • Cherag – Offering thigh high and knee high boots as well as sandals and high heel shoes at very great prices.
  • Raunchy – Dress Yourself Accordance to you with the help of Thigh High Boots. Get a pair of thigh boots to get the look.

Beauty – Fashion Tips for Women

A noted philosopher and politician Aristotle once said, women are the best creatures of god.

According to the varying shape and size or body shape and colours, etc., here are few wrapping and carrying tips i.e. Fashion Tips for Women.Ladies » Scarves and Headwear

But before jumping into those tips to make you smarter, beautiful and bold definitely you would like to know What is Fashion for Women, especially if you are a bit extra cautious about your looks and appearance.

Fashion for Women

Women are directly linked with fashion. It would be right to say that the word fashion is synonyms to woman. It is something more than wearing clothing. If you are an urban beauty, the fashion trend and style should go well and that too in advance with you. Few of the factors that define your fashion statement are body frame, skin tone, level of comfort and personal attitude.

  • Body Frame – Are you a plump woman, if yes, trying avoiding sleeveless cuts. Choose dark colour clothing rather than lighter shades. Or prefer over a range of dull colours like dull blue or dirty blue. If you wear small prints and vertical line prints, you will look slimmer. If you have extra pounds in you, avoid kola sarees and cotton sarees and stick to Chiffon and Georgette Sarees. Choose beige and fawn colours, if you have a medium structure. In case of dresses, try on nets as these are of great help in disguising physical flaws. Thin women, cheer up, you will look gorgeous in all the colour ranges. All the colours and shades will suits on you. You also can try on sleeveless, deep cuts t-shirts and strapped blouses.
  • Skin Tone – If you have fair complexion, gold with a blend of copper will make you cool. If you are a medium / whitish coloured, prefer mix shades of white, beige and bronzy golden. If you have dark skin, prefer to wrap yourself in golden copper shades.
  • Personal Attitude and Level of comfort – Your attitude and level of comfort is very important along with your appearance and clothing sense. If you want to maintain a cosmopolitan outlook but do not feel very much comfortable with western wear, try Indo Western style. A blend of Indo Western style should add an extra charm to your personality. A boat necked saree with a squared necked blouse is definitely for a shy and introvert women. Bold and beautiful should choose from sleeveless, deep-necked blouses and may be straps.

So no matter what is your body frame and skin tone or how bold is your personality, fashion is for you, LADIES.

Effect of stress on fertility

Women may have a more difficult time becoming pregnant when they’re feeling stressed, according to a new study that found women were less likely to conceive when they showed elevated levels of a stress-related substance called alpha-amylase.

Alpha-amylase is secreted into saliva in order to digest starch. But researchers have begun using the substance as an indicator of the body’s response to physical or psychological stress because it’s also released when the nervous system produces catecholamines, compounds that initiate a type of stress response.

For this study, researchers from the U.S. National Institutes of Health and the University of Oxford charted the ovulation cycles of 274 English women, ages 18 to 40, who were trying to conceive.

The results showed that women with high alpha-amylase levels were less likely to conceive than those with low levels.

“Overall, the 25 percent of the women in the study who had the highest alpha-amylase levels had roughly an estimated 12 percent reduction in getting pregnant each cycle in comparison to women with the lowest concentrations,” study first author Germaine Buck Louis, director of the division of epidemiology, statistics, and prevention research at the U.S. National Institute of Child Health and Human Development, said in a National Institutes of Health news release.

The study, published online in the journal Fertility and Sterility, is the first to show an association between a biomarker of stress and a reduced chance of becoming pregnant.

“It has been suggested that stress may increase with the disappointment of several failed attempts at getting pregnant, setting off a cycle in which pregnancy becomes even more difficult to achieve,” Buck Louis said.

The findings suggest that doctors need to identify appropriate ways to help women reduce stress when they are trying to get pregnant.

What do you do to help women to relax?

People often turn to alcohol or tobacco to relieve stress, but these substances also reduce the likelihood of pregnancy.

Techniques worthy of investigation, she said, include meditation, biofeedback, yoga, and boosting social support.

choosing a right pet and how take care of it

Pet is an animal kept for companionship and enjoyment or a household animal, as opposed to wild animals or to livestock, laboratory animals, working animals or sport animals, which are kept for economic or productive reasons.
The most popular pets are noted for their loyal or playful characteristics, for their attractive appearance, or for their song.
Pets also generally seem to provide their owners with non-trivial health benefits,  keeping pets has been shown to help relieve stress to those who like having animals around. Walking with a dog can provide you and the dog exercise, fresh air, and social interaction. A Cat and Dog, the two most popular animals kept as pets.

Effects of pets on their caregiver’s health

Health benefits:

Pets have the ability to stimulate their caregivers, in particular the elderly, giving someone to take care of, someone to exercise with, and someone to help them heal from a physically or psychologically troubled past. Having a pet may help you achieve health goals, such as lowered blood pressure, or mental goals, such as decreased stress. There is evidence that having a pet can help you lead a longer, healthier life. In a study of 85 people hospitalised for coronary ailments, within a year 10 of the 30 without pets had died, compared to only 3 of the 52 who had pets. A recent study concluded that having a pet can reduce the risk of a heart attack by 2% and that pets are better than medication in reducing blood pressure. Owning a pet can also prolong survival of a heart attack. Dogs which are trained to be guide dogs can help you with disabilities.

Pets in long-term care institutions

Even pet owners residing in a long-term care facility, such as a hospice or nursing home, experience health benefits from pets. Pets for nursing homes are chosen based on the size of the pet, the amount of care that the breed needs, and the population and size of the care institution. Appropriate pets go through a screening process and, if it is a dog, additional training programs to become a therapy dog.

Different pets require varying amounts of attention and care; for example, cats have lower maintenance requirements than dogs.

Health risks

Health risks that are associated with pets include:

  • Aggravation of allergies and asthma caused by dander and fur or feathers
  • Among elderly and disabled people, these falls have resulted in life-threatening injuries and broken bones.
  • Injuries, maulings and sometimes deaths caused by pet bites and attacks
  • Disease or parasites due to animal hygiene problems or lack of appropriate treatment (faeces and urine)
  • Stress caused by behaviour of animals
  • Fear or distress from animal presence or behaviour
  • Spread of diseases like the fatal rabies when not properly taken care of.

Pet first aid:

Pet first aid courses are available to you and those who work with pets. Many pet related businesses that involve looking after pets require staff to be trained in pet first aid.

Pet first aid courses are designed to equip you with the information and skills needed to assess the situation, administer the appropriate care, or stabilize an injured pet until qualified veterinary care can be obtained. The course stresses preventive care (avoiding illness and injuries).

Students usually learn the importance of immediate medical attention following an injury, how to properly restrain an injured animal, and the following:

  • Preventing Illness and Injury
  • Restraint and Transportation
  • Shock
  • Internal and External Bleeding
  • Wounds and Infections
  • Poisons
  • Artificial Respiration and Airway Obstruction
  • Abdominal Thrusts (Heimlich Manoeuvre)
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
  • Administering Medications
  • Parasites
  • Eye and Ear Injuries
  • Injuries from Heat and Cold Bone and Joint Injuries
  • Healing with Grief

A larger part of organic agriculture involves the health of the soil and the ecosystem in which crops and livestock are raised. Organic farmers recognize that healthy, vibrant, and live soils and ecosystems significantly benefit crops. Natural, undisturbed soil is alive with microbiotic organisms that exist in harmony with the native plant life and the inorganic minerals that provide the soil’s substrate.

Sunglasses – indulge yourself

Sunglasses or sun glasses are a form of protective eyewear designed primarily to prevent bright sunlight and high-energy visible light from damaging or discomforting the eyes. They can sometimes also function as a visual aid, as variously termed spectacles or glasses exist which feature lenses that are colored, polarized or darkened. In the early 20th century they were also known as sun cheaters (cheaters being an American slang term for glasses).

Many people find direct sunlight too bright for comfort. During outdoor activities, the human eye can receive more light than usual. Healthcare professionals recommend eye protection whenever outside to protect the eyes from ultraviolet radiation and blue light, which can cause several serious eye problems. Sunglasses have long been associated with celebrities and film actors primarily from a desire to mask their identity. Since the 1940s sunglasses have been popular as a fashion accessory, especially on the beach.

A range of sunglasses models with lenses of different coloursThe color of the lens can vary depending on style, fashion, and purpose, but for general use, red, grey, yellow, or brown are recommended to avoid or minimize color distortion, which could affect safety when, for instance, driving a car or a school bus.

A range of sunglasses models
with lenses of different colours
  • Grey and green lenses are considered neutral because they maintain true colors.
  • Brown lenses cause some color distortion, but also increase contrast.
  • Turquoise lenses are good for medium and high light conditions because they are good at enhancing contrast, but do not cause significant color distortion.
  • Orange and yellow lenses increase both contrast and depth perception. They also increase color distortion. Yellow lenses are used by pilots, boaters, fishers, shooters, and hunters for their contrast enhancement and width perception properties
  • Blue or purple lenses are mainly cosmetic.

With the introduction of office computing, ergonomists may recommend mildly tinted glasses for use by display operators, in order to increase contrast.

Clear lenses sunglasses are typically used to protect the eyes from impact, debris, dust, or chemicals. Some sunglasses with interchangeable lens have wet lenses to protect the eyes during low light or early morning activities.

While some blue blocking sunglasses are produced as regular sunglasses for exposure to bright sunlight, others especially for macular degeneration patients do not block light or other colors in order to function well in regular daylight and even dim sunlight. The latter allow the passage of enough light so normal evening activities can continue, while blocking the light that prevents production of the hormone melatonin. Low-tinted blue glasses are sometimes recommended to treat insomnia; they are worn in artificial lighting after dark, to reestablish the circadian rhythm.

Some models have polarized lenses, made of Polaroid polarized plastic sheeting, to reduce glare caused by light reflected from polarizing surfaces such as water as well as by polarized diffuse sky radiation (skylight). This can be especially useful when fishing, for which the ability to see beneath the surface of the water is crucial.

A mirrored coating can also be applied to the lens. This mirrored coating deflects some of the light when it hits the lens so that it is not transmitted through the lens, making it useful in bright conditions; however, it does not necessarily reflect UV radiation as well. Mirrored coatings can be made any color by the manufacturer for styling and fashion purposes. The color of the mirrored surface is irrelevant to the color of the lens. For example, a gray lens can have a blue mirror coating, and a brown lens can have a silver coating. Sunglasses of this type are sometimes called mirrorshades. A mirror coating does not get hot in sunlight and it prevents scattering of rays in the lens bulk.

Sunglass lenses are made of either glass or plastic. Plastic lenses are typically made from acrylic, polycarbonate, CR-39 or polyurethane. Glass lenses have the best optical clarity and scratch resistance, but are heavier than plastic lenses. They can also shatter or break on impact. Plastic lenses are lighter but are more prone to scratching. Plastic offers more resistance to shattering than glass. Polycarbonate plastic lenses are the lightest, and are also almost shatterproof, making them good for impact protection. CR-39 is the most common plastic lens, due to low weight, high scratch resistance, and low transparency for ultraviolet and infrared radiation.

Any of the above features, color, polarization, gradation, mirroring, and materials, can be combined into the lens for a pair of sunglasses. Gradated glasses are darker at the top of the lens where the sky is viewed and transparent at the bottom. Corrective lenses or glasses can be manufactured with either tinting or darkened to serve as sunglasses. An alternative is to use the corrective glasses with a secondary lenses such as oversize sunglasses that fit over the regular glasses, clip-on lens that are placed in front of the glasses, and flip-up glasses which feature a dark lens that can be flipped up when not in use. Photochromic lens gradually darken in bright light.

Inflatabble swimming pool

This fantastic 15ft Swimming pool from Intex is ready to use within 15 Minutes!

The meeting will take place at The Laverton, in Westbury, at 1900 BST on Thursday.
Wiltshire Council is reviewing leisure services in the country although nowhere has been earmarked for closure as yet.
But those who use the Intex inflatable family size swimming pool fear it could be a target and have already started a campaign to save it.
Bob Lee, one of the main organisers of Save Westbury Inflatable Swimming Pool, said: “We recently lost our community hospital which was perfectly good, the building wasn’t falling down.
“It was a fantastic place and we maybe started a little late on that. We’re not going to get caught out this time.”
Pam Cox, who regularly uses the pool to ease pain in her joints, said: “It would have a major impact on my life.
A consultation is under way and there will be no announcement until the summer.
Councillor Stuart Wheeler, who is leading the review, has said the popularity of the pool and its history would be taken into account.
